I had a Bassani on my 350 and I loved it. My favorite sound was just as I fire up the engine. Sweet, nasty sound.

bassani is a true dual exhaust, X pipe design, resonators and mufflers. it is quiet enough (just a touch louder then stock) at cruising rpm (under 3k-3.5k), and really opens up after that.

really is a great sounding exhaust system. I sold my 3" system for this and couldn't be happier. had mine for a little more then a year now.

motordyne will cost more but ultimately they make a better product imo.

if I recall correctly, the shockwave is one of their louder setups? rough comparison to the bassani. if gains are all you are after, shockwave is probably the better bet.

Thanks I'm gonna have to do some more research on both exhaust , did you have your car dynoed after installing the bassani? and does your car seem to pull harder? there's a person on here who claimed to get 17 more wheel hp with the shock wave. i'll have to search fore some dyno charts after an bassani install.

After much research, etc., I got the Bassani. Best sounding exhaust I've heard on a Z, IMHO. Slightly deeper rumble, roars when pushed, mild when cruising. I've gotten several comments on it.
