Default Help! Y-Pipe Advice Needed!

Our Z bottomed out and ruptured the flex hoses of the Y-pipe on our NISMO S-Tune cat-back exhaust system. Our Nissan dealer quoted us $1600 for a complete new NISMO S-Tune cat-back exhaust system, citing that NISMO does not sell the Y-pipe separately. I don't want to pay $1600 just for a damaged Y-pipe, and I don't want to buy an OEM one for $600 either (quoted by dealer as well). I see a ton of aftermarket ones online at much lower prices...which one should I get? Experiences on sound and / or quality? Ones that include mating gaskets are a bonus.

Note that the single end of the Y-pipe -- pointing towards the muffler (where the "Y" merges), must be of the same pipe diameter as that of the NISMO exhaust to ensure fit / no rattle or leaks.

Please advise, thanks!

I recommend looking into the XYZ Pipe from Motordyne - if it fits, get it. I also recommend donning your flame suit. Good luck.

The y-pipe is an empty pipe. It does not sound like anything. If you want an attractive pipe go polished stainless steel for about $400. If you do not mind some ugly corrosion get one for $200.
