Default Upper + Lower Plenums Worth It??

I have an 06 Z and was considering getting upper + lower plenum spacers (motordyne) would it be worth it? I already have full exhaust and intake. Will I notice a difference in performance and sound? I was also considering getting a dyno tune after those mods is a dyno tune worth it?

Is your 06 auto or manual? We need to determine if you have a REVUP or not.

Get the:
Motordyne 5/16 ISO Thermal
MREV2 (If you have a REVUP 6MT)

What exhaust? Cat-back? Y-pipe back?

What Intake? Probably better off using the OEM.

Test pipes or high flow cats.

Then Tune.

I have an 06 and the MD ISO 5/16 spacer and MREV2 and I think it was worth every penny. I'm running a stock exhaust so the sound for me is pretty nice. Not sure if it will make much difference with your exhaust.

As for performance, I noticed very nice gains from around 4k RPM and above but not much at the lower RPMs.

I can say I love the sound coming from under my hood. I can't say I love the price for hardly any gain. Also issues with the damn upper plenum rubbing on my hood...

I have a manual it's a REVUP so I need both the MREV2 and iso thermal to experience some gains. I have a stillen intake and motordyne v1 shockwave exhaust w/ straight pipe module and berk test pipes. If I were to get my car dynoed would it take away my CEL light from the test pipes? So the sound difference is pretty noticeable?

Do it man, I'm gonna do it. I'm pretty sure I saw something saying that the MREV2 provides the most power from one mod for the lowest price compared to anything else you can buy for the RevUp motor...and we all know that the spacer is worth it.

I currently have AEM CAI, DC Sports Headers, and Berk HFC's. Next week Stillen Y-Pipe and Greddy Ti-C go on. Last steps will be MREV2/spacer combo and ECU reflash.

Then I can leave the performance alone and concentrate on other stuff!
