Yes. Any exhaust mod will alter the torque and horsepower curve. You should know that. Whether the results are positive or negative I do not know.

This thread isn't about knowing if it will alter the curve, its if it'll be plus or minus.

Aww, don't knock the Motordyne, how many modular y-pipes do you know of out there? You can get an xyz + straight module for under 400

I've got a set of ART pipes waiting to go on, as soon as I can order the XYZ w/ HFC. My conscience won't let me do otherwise for my DD.

not knocking, just saying i won't pay that much for a y pipe, personal preference.

Hmmm...what did you measure it with? I measured mine with a caliper and it came out to 2.31" exactly which would round out to 2.25. The collector on the header measured 2.26". I'll check again today to see if maybe I screwed up.

If you wanted, if you didn't live to far away, I could lend you my HR Y-pipe and you could try it versus a Megan or whatever you wish to buy. Honestly, I could understand if you're on a budget, but for $300-ish, you could get the AAM and it's a quality product.

Yep Megan Racing. Had it on my 07 HR. Anyone know if it'll fit previous years? I would guess it would if people use the HR y-pipe on earlier models.
