Default Bought the wrong plenum spacer kit. Need some specs.

i bought the motordyne 5/16 iso thermal kit which i thought was for the 350z but they sent me the one for the g35. The issue is, they obviously didn't included the strut spacer and washers. Can anyone tell me the specs for the spacers (i guess also the thread pitch of the strut bolts) and washers? Are the spacers also 5/16 thick?

I would rather just buy the spacers and washers separately than to return it.

So you got it from Motordyne? They would probably just send you the spacers....6 chunks of plastic that go inside the plenum.

Call the vendor. Thay will probably send you some spacers. The spacers are just washers to raise the strut bar over the plenum.

well i bought it off this company on ebay. (beshoffinfiniti)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

It was false advertising on their part and they said there going to remove saying its for the 350z as well. They only have the kits for the g35 so they don't have any of the spacers/washers for the strut bar. I'm prob going to try and go to lowes or something and replicate the strut spacer. So does anyone know the specs?

What washer are you referring to? I have the strut bar spacers (washers).

theres a set of 8 strut spacers and 16 strut washers if additional space is required (i think thats what there for). the red arrow is for the spacers, and the yellow is for the washers.

Bro, you should have contacted me. I could have sent them to you. Even if it was a vendor error I'll always try to help out.

the stacked washers worked perfectly. the only hickup i had w/ the install was i didn't have those star shaped sockets for the two studs. had to go out and get them which was a bit of a nuisance. besides that, I'm totally enjoying the added power!
