Sorry in advance - but I promise I tried the search function, I just can't find EXACTLY the information that I'm looking for.

I have the Nismo CAI (bought the car with it, 08 HR) and I want to get an exhaust next, I've always liked Nismo, but I see that it hardly even got a mention in the best intake/exhaust etc thread, so my question is this:


Why is the Nismo not very popular? It seems reasonably priced, it's a good quality part being that it's Nismo, and while I know that sound is personal preference, I dont think the sound is one that most people would find unappealing - so why do so few people seem to favor this exhaust?

Also, why the love for the HKS dual exhaust? Simply because it nets higher gains?

What other mods are you running farmer? Are you happy with everything that you have - would you change anything?

Look back about 7 years and you will see few exhausts available for the Z in 2003.

Times have changed. There are now new configurations, knock-offs and choices in quality and price.

 

May not be a favorite on the list, but for me I'm happy with the INVIDIA GEMINI dual system which is on sale by one of the vendors in the classifieds. Not overbaring, no drone, but good growl when you put your foot into it.
