Best Exhaust
Hey Im trying to research what the best options for exhaust is for the 350z. I know Stillen has a pretty nice exhaust and that the Apexi N1 is coming out soon and shows some nice gains but want to know what everyone else thinks about the exhaust systems for the 350z!
Thanks for your info!
If you guys have any pics, videos, or sound clips please throw them up so that others can get an idea of what exhaust they might like and possibly get in the future. Just trying to help those out who may be looking for an exhaust system but really wants to know more about them and how they look and sound differently!

hm.. I think you should jsut do a search for all the different exhausts. Honestly, I think everybody's opinion will be biased towards the exhaust they own. U should just check out the sound clips that are out there and made your decision from there. Just my 2 cents

As a Z lover my favorite has always been the Nismo. It looks nice'st from behind, nice polished Stainless steel reflects the ground very nicely. Sounds amazing. Like an exotic car. Here is a video / audio clip of the nismo.

From my past experience, and most magazine's exhaust shoot out I encountered (both Japanese and US.) APEX'i N1 usually makes more HP than most of exhausts on most of cars (WRX, EVO, 1st and 2nd GEN Eclipse). Although it was not released yet, the dyno result of prototype is 8.9 hp gain by XS engineering. I will definately wait for Apex'i N1.
Note: the comparison in the magazines is limited to cat-back vs. cat back.

N1 comes with silencer. Anyway, I agree with do some research part.
Oh just some more info. Apex'i in Japan has two type of N1 exhaust for 350Z. One of them is single pipe single outlet, instead of Y-pipe or true Dual and Dual outlet. it is supposed for 350Z race car. I will believe it will make more HP than the regular N1 and lighter. I really want to see the Dyno result for that exhaust.

I am very pleased with the N1 I have it on my Integra and I love it. It is true that N1 usually has one of the highest horsepower gains out of exhuast for many cars.
I can't wait till APEXi makes a GT Spec exhaust system for the 350z turbo applications!
Thanks for your information, this is definetely helping me out in my research!
