Yes, the bonded gasket was a new innovation back in 2006. I made a post about it when it was first released.

The pre-bonded gasket makes installation a lot easier and it also greatly improves the sealing performance.

If there is a stumbling idle, there can be a number of various causes. You would need to go through a trouble shooting process to see what the cause of the problem is.

Motordyne guy! hi. i have some questions for you. After i tighten all the bolts, i drove the car for a few miles and let it cool down in my garage. I go over all the bolts again and they are loose...what's going on? This happened twice today. I didn't use a torque wrench but i did tighten them up 100inch lbs or more. I don't think it could be less than 95 inch lbs.
One more thing, do i need to apply oil on the gaskets that are attached to the plenum spacer?

OH BTW, after i tightened up the bolts that are attached to the MREV, they droppage of the RPM was gone.

 

The gaskets are made thick and compliant to help insure a good seal. They will compress slightly over the first few thermal cycles.

And oil is only applied to the Aramid lower manifold gasket. Not the spacer gasket.

 

I luv the spacer! i can definitely feel the pull above 4k rpm..almost banged my head to the seat cause i wasn't expecting it lol.
Could the oil pressure have dropped a little bit after plenum spacer installation? I'm not sure but i think it dropped some.

 

It will have no effect on oil pressure up or down.
