How can you tell Genuine Nismo Y-pipe and Mid-pipe
hi
i just bought a used NISMO s-tuned cat back system that came with Y-pipe, mid-pipe, and muffler. I see NISMO logo on the muffler, but is there any way that you can tell if Y-pipe and mid-pipe are Genuine since there is no mark on them. Should I bring them to the Nissan dealership to ask?
welcome any replies and comments

There used to be subtle differences (i.e., slightly different flex joints, quality of welds, slight design differences, etc) between the first replicas and the Nismo y-pipes, but now they're pretty much the same.
Honestly, with exhausts (and most non-moving parts), it doesn't matter if you have replica or authentic as they will yield the same exact gains (any difference is either negligible or within margin of error). What you need to be concerned about is quality of welds and fitment.
