I have Motordyne's ART Pipes and i have the rattling issue as well around 3k-4.5k when the outside temperature is really hot (like 110+)... Other than that, i also have the rattling issue everyday regardless of outside temperature if i slowly disengage the clutch in first gear almost to the point where the car is going to die out.. Other than that, no rattle...

Any fix? Does this sound like your problem?

^My Nismo exhaust was making popping sound after installing Berk hfcs when decelerating.

But after installing Stillen G3 dual intakes, the popping sound was gone completely.

My guess is the restricted stock intake could cause the popping sound?

ok so i literally just pulled the heat shields off, this fixed the rattling by maybe 5%. kinda pissed cause i thought that would be the fix. Popping still there but im thinking this may be an exhaust leak. When i look under the car, coming from the driver side test pipe, where the test pipe connects to the catback is some exhaust gases seaping, i feel the heat when i put my hand next to it. would tightening this fix the exhaust leak ?

Possibly... but if you cant get it tighter without straining stop... you dont wanna break the stud or anything. try to tighten it a lil if its tight youll need another gasket.

Heatshield as in the bracket that holds the cats? I removed that due to installing ART pipes... So no heatshield, nothing supporting the ART pipes... And it's still rattling.

nah there is heat shields above each cat, not the brackets. If you can get under your car and look above the test pipes, you will notice a piece of flimsy metal held by three 10mm bolts.

Oh ok i think i know what you're talking about... But i dont understand how my pipes can be hitting that thing... It's literally an inch or so away from it...

So you're saying that in order to get rid of the rattling, i'd have to take off the heatshield? Wouldn't the pipe just hit the frame of the car or whatever is under the heatshield then?

i didnt notice too much of a difference by taking them off, but it could help you maybe since others noticed a dramatic change.

I'll just keep it on then, i mean they're on there for a reason... I'll just endure through the annoying vibrations when the weather is extremely hot...

Wow you two almost have same identical names, got me confused for a minute hah

Btw op: so you got all your popping fixed now?

Ok... i just did TWO test pipe installs. one is still on jack stands waiting for the core support to come in so i havnt started it but i just did one today and he has Injen dual cold air and Greddy evo 2 with berk test pipes. after hearing his car i think i know what your popping is. When he is around 2k-3.5k rpm it has a like a hollow tin can popping/rattling noise correct?
