Default 1/2 iso thermal motordyne spacer review

There's a lot of reviews out there for this spacer so i'm just adding that extra umph towards your decision to click "buy now" for this great product....that's if you haven't already done so.

I bought and installed this piece on my 03 350z which only took about 2.5 hours and some sweat, and that's with cleaning the upper and lower plenum, and waiting for some teflon tape. I bought the CCV option, which is to control the coolant flow to the throttle body....something I recommend and worth the mula. The only thing I caution is when it comes time to cut your coolant hose for the valve, I recommend cutting well before the protective hose padding to leave room for the clamp. If you buy the motordyne kit, it comes with two clamps for the valve addition and those clamps aren't big enough to fit around the protective hose padding. I made the mistake of cutting right at the padding so I had to get a bigger clamp for that. Other than that, it's an easy install for anyone with the general mechanical skills....even someone with mad legos skills.

I don't have any numbers but my built in g-meter can attest to the gains . But really, I went into this mod skeptical about the claimed gains others have posted and I gotta say, i'm impressed about the noticeable gains just from a spacer and ccv mod.

yes...you sure do. another thing i want to add...i opened my hood up today and saw rub marks on the bottom side of my hood where the plenum was contacting two spots no bigger than an inch....it's not bad by any means but i'm gonna be doing a little shaving soon.

I thought the 1/2" spacers were mainly for FI applications?

why would it be? it would benefit more with FI but it's not just for FI. it's running perfectly fine for me...i'm setting up for FI, so that's the reason I went with 1/2
