Default Exhaust flex joint?

Ok so Iam about to pickup a Borla exhaust. I am also considering getting some Berk TP as there are some locally for short money.

My concern is that neither the Borla or the Berks have a flex joint. So basically I will have a seriously ridgid exhaust system. Am I risking serious damage to anything? Should I forget about the Berks. My thoughts are that if anything hits the exhaust, then the force will transfer right to the manifold and block. I can just imagine a cracked manifold or snapped studs.

How is everyone dealing with the issue, if it's an issue at all.

I have a Borla exhaust and Berk high flow cats and I have never had a problem. I have had them on my Z for 2 years now.

Nowhere could you possibly find an exhaust with more pieces. Its like an erector set. Despite the clamps all the connections will “flex.”
