Nismo v. Agency - need your vote
Probably completely blows your budget but I initially went with the Nismo S-Tune, later added Berk HFC's and swapped the nismo y-pipe for a motordyne XYZ w/resonator.

first of all the Z doesnt come true dual from the factory so a single exhaust is a proper choice.
AP is great quality and sounds badass with hfcs and y-pipe. dont know what your talking about?
so your sayin supra's and gtr's with aftermarket single exhaust are ricers with fart cans.

Wooo the blue ones mine. Since you have a vert I would suggest not doing anything else if you do get the AP. I've had test pipes and stillen y pipe for a while now and it would be pretty bad on the freeway for you.
Even with just the AP you wont be able to hear the intake anymore. I tought my injen cai was loud until i got the AP.Especially now with the y and test pipes,there's no hope of hearing the intake.

If you have $1500 budget for an exhaust, get the Motordyne Shockwave TDX2.
It gives you more bang for the buck. It provides show(shiny)and go(proven HP).

Check Engine Light revealed cracks on my stock Cat and I had to have them replaced. Thank goodness for my extended warranty.
I recently replaced the Ypipe with an aftermarket one. I am crossing my fingers.

Z imo looks much better with dual exit, fits the car much better

Pretty much exactly what I am looking for. I was planning on giving Motordyne a shout out on Monday to get a little more info / maybe make the purchase if it all makes sense.
After install, I will definitely try to get a audio clip up...just will take awhile as we have about a foot of snow on the ground and the Z is currently sleeping.
Also, sorry to hear about your troubles with the Nismo product...good luck!

nismo > ap
they both sound good, but the nismo takes the win because of its appearance.. the ap is for the jdm fanboi's who like the fart can style exhausts, also for people who put stickers all over their cars and especially their front bumper
