Wonder why it's not a dual? The Y-pipe kills the power on this car. In our testing, the enire dual exhaust we designed (mufflers and all) outflowed just the stock y-pipe (no other piping or mufflers).
If they're getting those kinds of gains with a y-pipe then a dual exhaust would get substantially more. I wish we could see a comparison with a true dual on the same vehicle.
However, it seems like the enthusiasts buying this exhaust are way more concerned with sound and looks than power so I guess it meets the needs of those who are not power oriented.
It's certainly a beautiful piece.
