Best Exhaust Hole Repair

Just noticed I have a hole in my muffler, wondering the best way to repair the hole. Please give me some suggestions!

How large is the hole? Just mig a quick patch....

Actually just noticed like 25 minutes ago. I will look at it tomorrow. The smoke coming out looks like its about the size of my fist.

Okay, good news, but bad. No hole in the muffler. There is a loose connection between the muffler and the exhaust from the cat back. Possibly taking the connection apart, and reconnecting with high temo fittings.
