Default My exhaust is toooooo loud quick ?

Currently running resonated test pipes and a non resonated exhaust n my ears hurt if i put in resonated mufflers will it cause the exhaust to go more quiet or is it just the exhaust itself???

Exhaust is a motordyne v1

I had the same problem you did except I got Berk hfc MD xyz pipe and an unresonated rsr gt2 I just put a resonator back in the rsr and it helped slightly but nothing great.. it did get rid of my rasp tho and I'm having a shop try to fabricate dead chambers like on the hks but its just an idea I got from the hotrod forums so its just an expiriment to get rid of the droning and quiet it down a bit. Cuz personally I like how loud my car is I just can't live with that horrible drone anymore.. how bad is your drone if you have any?

Shockwave V1? Change to the gamma or other rear sections.

I run the V1 with Berk HFC, and the resonater section in the XYZ for track. My car is usually one of the louder ones at an event.

Throw your stock cats in for now, still to loud for daily use, but better.

I would say you could add more resonators. I'm thinking i should do the same since my car registers at 110 db under WOT at 5,000 rpms.

You don't necessarily need the TDX version, just look for the V2 axle back section, it will definitely quiet it down.

This is the only correct option (except maybe another axle-back section..) I have the same exhaust except with Cats, now with HFCs.

v2 will keep it loud while accelerating, and eliminate drone while cruising.. It will still be loud though.

If you want it quiet.. go back to stock, or something entirely different.

Still havn't figured this out, no one one here has the recording equipment to post a clip worth a dam.But for the little poser boys that sound matters so much to. Here you go, DC Headers, Berk HFC, Motordyne XYZ with resonater and Shockwave V1.
