Exclamation exhaust help

just got 2008 350z. The car is stock but i love the stock exhaust sound but want it louder, now i seen muffler delete but i need the car to pass inspection, then i saw adding test pipes but wasnt sure about that either, so whats my best choice on keeping stock sound just making it louder and without spending 1000s of dollars, please help

There really isn't much you can do. You either put on a cat back exhaust that is louder then stock, or put on test pipes with the stock exhaust, which you will for sure fail inspection. Another option is installing headers, but they will cost some $. Exhaust tips are cheap and can make the exhaust look upgraded but won't change the sound. The cheapest route is test pipes. APS test pipes with stock exhaust is known to sound good. Granted, everyone has their own opinion when it comes to what sounds good. If you need to pass inspection in your state, and you want your exhaust to sound "louder", then a cat back exhaust upgrade is the best option.

Do we know how much it will cost you? Just go try to buy one...the price will be right there next to it when you add it to your cart.
