^^i'm looking into megan single set up. They have 3 inch mid pipe and single canister. I don't see why this would be so different than AP.

Does anyone have experience with Megan Racing 3" inlet turbo exhaust Muffler or TPV TURBO Muffler w/ 4" from Vibrant?
http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...products_id=16
http://www.jmautoracing.com/megan-ra...r-p-50213.html
Vibrant muffler has longer size muffler and body width than Megan. Will this effect the loudness a lot? Check out the websites for sizes.

I've heard that more chambers in the muffler makes the sound more louder and deep. In the vibrant muffler description, it says that "densely packed with our premium multi-layered sound absorption materials, helping produce a low, deep exhaust tone." Is that true?

My setup before resonated test pipes was banshee loud. I'd recommend a resonator in the midpipe with a nice universal HKS Ti, resonated test pipes, and resonated y-pipe. Should sound super sexy.

just get a canister that you like and tell your exhaust guy to build you an exhaust. just keep in mind the hks cf ti runs a bit expensive. retail is close to $500, for the muffler alone. although you should be able to get one used for around 250.

Since i know a fab guy who does amazing job customizing cages and exhausts, i might go with custom single exhaust. He custom made a harness bar for me and IMO it's definately better than other bars out there.
So the reason being for wanting a single exhaust is because of weight reduction, better flow and loud azz sound. (When to couple of Autox events and they got some ear bust exhausts).
I'm looking for 4.5 ~ 5 inch exhaust tip, and straight pipe after stock y-pipe, before exhaust tip.
Would megaphone type exhaust tip look good with bumper tuck? (im def tucking the bumper with single exhaust)
Would i need to customize the stock y-pipe also? (i got hr y-pipe. my car is 05)
What should the piping size be? what material?
How much would i expect to pay with or without labor?

PS. is the y-pipe the one that has the catalytic, or is it be the right after headers? id like to leave the cat alone.

thankz guyz

PICS of said Harness bar....................????????????

how much are you willing to pay for this custom job? if it were me i would go all out and go with titanium piping with a burnt looking tip.

one of my friends is considering selling his JIC titanium 3' single. would this interest you if your project doesn't go through?

^^all depends how much he wants to sell it for.
If i have to pay near $400, it's better fro me to just get a used AP exhaust.
Right now, i may go with megan drift spec
