What year OE cats will fit an '04? I know '03 cats will fit because they're the same part number as the '04s. '05s have a different part number and I don't know about later models.

And if the different part number for the '05 means the those cats are incompatible with '04s, why is that? What changed from '04 to '05 to make the cats not compatible? Thanks for any info.

Few members are swapping OEM catalytic converters. High flow catalytic converters yes. Test pipes yes.

I assume catalytic converters from the VQ35DE motor fit the VQ35DE motor. Why would they not?

NOTE: I had a set of OEM catalytic converters for sale for 6 months. Couldn't give the damn things away. And you need OEM catalytic converters why?
