test pipes with bassani
i bought a bassani exhaust system not to long ago. I havent got it installed yet, i was contimplating on getting test pipes as well. However after researching i have heard, that by getting test pipes in throws the sensor no matter what, also that it gets stinky. Anyone have opinions on this?
there are a few videos of the bassani with test pipes on youtube. if you go with a non-resonated set of test pipes, there's going to be some rasp. i had the bassani with AAM non-resonated pipes and could not stand it. i have heard clips of the bassani with resonated test pipes and those setups sounded good. there was a highly noticeable difference in smell. i have had my AAM test pipes on for 2 years, and my z hasn't thrown a code yet luckily. i daily drive it and have probably put 30,000 miles on it since the test pipes were installed.

i couldn't bear the hissing. it was loud inside the car too.

I have the injen ses exhaust and the berks test pipes and below 3800rpm its sounds a little warmer than the stock set up. Once you break the the 3800 ceiling it sounds like demon. No hiss ,very little drone.
