Wait, I think everyone is confused. I maybe wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the Shockwave V2, not the TDX. They're two different exhaust systems. OP, am I correct?

Yep this is the shockwave dual. This is the one they dont make anymore. I was lucky to obtain it. It's similar to the TDX but it uses the modules in the xyz pipe unlike the TDX, which is why i like it. So i can always just put the cat option in if i want to pass emissions. I think this one may be a little quieter than the TDX as well. It's a perfect DD for me even with test pipes

Any pics of the complete exhaust on/off the car? I'm thinking about copying the xyz pipe with my current hks setup. I have berk tp's as well and had to weld in the x-pipe muffler and I'm not at all happy with the sound. Your set up sounds fantastic and I'm hoping the xyz with the resonator or hfc will help my setup sound closer to yours.

The TDX uses the XYZ pipe as well but eliminates the resonator or straight pipe and uses a combination of dual 2.5" and dual 3.0" stainless steel tubing.

I know how much you like it...I've got both but recently upgraded to the TDX V2 middle of last year and added the ART pipes to my arsenal. I still have my Shockwave Dual but don't have the heart to sell it since it's so rare. I may sell it eventually but I'm still on the fence.

Let's get those fly-by vids up man!

Here is a picture of the whole exhaust off the car. I agree It is so rare i would never sell it, it sounds a little different from the TDX2.

Flyby will have to happen sometime next week when i have time

Thanks for the pic! And I definitely agree that it sounds different than the tdx system. After hearing it on your car I wish I would've gone this route in the first place. I can't believe how smooth it sounds with berk tp's, no rasp what so ever. It has to be the single in dual out combined with the xyz resonator. Now I'll have to figure out how to do the same with my HKS so it doesn't sound like bawlz with tp's lol.

Yeah. I sure miss FSP... best shop in Tulsa by far, and it's a crying shame that they had to close.

And thanks, bro. I'll try to stay safe. Been hit by several IEDs so far, but I'm alive and kicking.

Just installed Motodyne's TDX V2 exhaust with their ART pipes. Let me tell you, this thing sounds intimidating. I'm in love all over again with 08 HR. Best true dual exhaust I've had. I'm more than sure I'm sticking with this exhaust for the long haul.

Got home from work and did some revving. No fly bys yet. Video sucks due to being in the Garage, I'm using my iPhone, and last but not least I come out I editing it as we speak.

Finally got around to doing a bumper tuck with the shockwave. Turned out pretty good i think, especially after I polished the axel back sections.

Only problem with this exhaust, as you can see, is the ground clearance. I am left with about 4" under the mid-section of the exhaust. This is with STOCK suspension. Kinda worries me. I'm going to head to the muffler shop tomorrow to get some hangers put on the mid-pipe to try to pull it up a tad.

Other than that it sounds great!

I would try and undo the clamps, hold it up whilst you do them back up. From what i've seen, they shouldn't be the lowest points.
