Post INJEN SES (Straight Tip) vs GREDDY EVO Dual

I'm selling my NISMO exhaust as soon as I can determine as to which one of these exhausts I want to settle with. I was curious if anyone could give me any opinions?

Injen SES (Straight Tip Design)

vs

Greddy EVO Dual

I realize that neither of these are out just yet, but I am willing to wait. I heard an INJEN SES last weekend and it was amazing. I bought the NISMO with RT Cats and the sound is just too high-pitch/exotic for my taste. Im wanting something deeper with an aggressive tone.

Does anyone have any suggestions off of these two choices for me? I know it'll probably be hard, being as nobody has really tested these :-( I thought I would take a chance and ask though.

Respectfully,
Christopher

The straight tipped Injen is a little bit softer in volume than the original and no one really has heard or seen the Greddy yet.

if your going to stay NA I would go with the injen. If your going FI go greddy. the Injen uses a 50mm piping for there exhaust while the greddy evo uses 60mm piping. I don't think the greddy will benifit any NA cars. Just my .02

That makes sense being as there is that 10mm difference. I will be staying N/A through the winter. Come spring, I may switch to FI, but not certain just yet. That being said, I will probably end up going with the Greddy just to save from having to buy and sell like i'm doing right now with my NISMO :-)

Thanks for your opinions everyone!

Has anyone heard any latest updates on the release date on the Greddy yet ?

Did you get to hear it? I'm curious on how the tone compares to other exhausts on the market right now for our car.

Now how does the TEIN car have one, and all of us are told we that there isn't a final release date? Beta probably?

actually yea, they were gonna part the tein car out(its for sale) and i was gonna get the exhaust, too bad it didnt come through.

i was able to hear it when it participated in the D1. kinda is a cross of a RS*R exhaust and Injen. i'll try to see if i have any sound clips i can dig up from my other computer.

Thanks so much! I would LOVE SOUND CLIPS of this exhaust!

Do you know if the car was an NA or an FI. . . this would make a huge difference, being as my car is an NA with just high flow cats right now.

Yeah, I just heard an INJEN SES (angled tip) this past weekend and wasn't overly pleased with the tone. . . but it was so much louder and bolder compared to my NISMO with RT Cats.

I hope daytona350z can find the clips for the GREDDY! I have a feeling that is what i 'm going with.

my brother has the greddy evo on his eclipse..im not so impressed with it.
it sounds good when u start up the car, and it sounds good when u drive it on a low speed.
the tone of the exhaust is deep and low. Sometimes u cant even tell its an aftermarket exhaust by the sound it makes.
the one thing i dislike about it is that when my bro revs his car, the deep tone of the exhaust goes away.

From what I hear and see of the design on the Greddy EVO for our 350z's - the sound shouldn't sound bad at all. Comparing the Greddy EVO Dual design that is coming out for our Zs and the ones out for the Eclipse is like comparing a borla exhaust on a cavalier and a SS Camaro :-) Just my thoughts. . . could be wrong!

I think I will wait to see if Daytona350Z has those sound clips laying around before I start having comments.

Anyone else stumble across some Sound Clips of the Greddy EVO for our Zs?

That could be a possiblity. I just heard there were a few project cars with the EVO Exhaust, so I was hoping someone had a clip.

Good news is that there are a few places posting that it is due out the end of december / first week of Jan. . . and you can pre-order with a deposit for $500.00

Webiteks..... Can you make a Sound Clip of your Nismo & R/T's? Also do you have or can you get a Sound Clip of the Injen with the R/T's or just the Injen.

If anyone else has Sound Clips, please post them!!!

I will get a sound clip tonight for ya. I believe Jason with Nissan Performance has a few soundclips of his car on here. It has the exact setup as I have.

They Have AVI's though and I'm not able to listen to the Clips and it really sucks. I've been trying to listen to them and several others but not able to cause of the AVI's and a few are closed or something.
