Anyone here work at muffler shop? I was wondering if Muffler shops can custom make a muffler silencer for me since my exhaust is too loud at cold start and I don't want to wake the neighbors.. My exhaust doesn't come with any silencers.

I am sure a good shop can help you out, so many people have had custom exhausts made up.

I have the injen track exhaust. It is so loud at cold start my neighbors glare at me :X

 

I have somewhat of the same problem, this might help a bit...

I have the GReddy Racing Ti-C along with some Stillen HFCs and it is VERY loud without the silencer. In addition, if I have the silencer in, DYNO tests show I LOSE 19 whp. I was discussing an option with my mechanic (Hill from Agile Auto) about building a custom Y-Pipe that has a "pre-muffler" welded in to cut down on the volume/drone and be able to run without the silencer.
