Default Aem dry flow kit

Hi everyone,
I need to clean my aem dryflow filter but it seems like most places stopped selling the kit by aem or they sell it for the same price as a new filter. Are there any alternatives like water and a mild detergent? I googled it and peole said simple green but i have no idea what that is. Thanks.

How much is a new filter? I know k&n sell the restoration kits but their filters are designed differently.

Assume this is a washable filter?

My technique for seven 350Z/370Z years has been:

1. Wash in mild soap and water. I toss the filters in a bucket while washing car.
2. Rinse clear water
3. Dry in sun. A leaf blower also works well
4. Spray lightly with WD-40.

BTW 10,000 miles is reasonable for preventive maintenance. I clean the engine bay and filters at the same time.

Do you really spray the filter with WD-40? Wont that stuff eat through the filter element?
