Does the Nismo intake have a CARB number or is it Off Road only?

I just tried to get my '04 350z with Nismo CAI smogged in the bay area and failed. The tech said the only reason was the CAI. I was so pissed.

I had kept the stock airbox until last year when we moved from SD to CA...it got tossed because it had sat in the attic for the entire 5 years I lived in SD. Now I need it. Argh.

Does anyone know of a smog place in the bay area that won't hassle me about the Nismo CAI?

Has anyone figured out the # you need on the Nismo intake yet? I went to smog this week and got failed as well in San Diego! BS! Can anyone send me their intake! PLEASE! I have no idea what to do. Any help would be great! Thanks!
