TopSpeed Pro N-1 Exhaust Video clips
#21
I converted them to mpeg-1, here is the link:
http://home.comcast.net/~vballdallas1/exhaust.mpg
http://home.comcast.net/~vballdallas1/fly.mpg
http://home.comcast.net/~vballdallas1/takeoff.mpg
you could also right click and click on Save Target As to save it to your hard drive.
Enjoy! Make sure you turn the volumn high to hear! hee hee..
also, the clip are taking without the silencer on. There are a little draw back, when the window are up, the vibration and noise does tend to get a little loud. I'm planning to get some sound deadner to insert to the back of the trunk area. If you have the silencer on, the inside noise does get a little better, But the exhaust note tends to be a little raspy, not much, just a little more.

Yeah it does, sounds like mine, a bit too loud for everyday driving.

You kind of learn how to drive it to keep it down without the silencers, in a way it kind of help my gas mileage. Since I try to keep it in low RPM. I was able to still get 19-20 mpg right now.
*got a few complain from the security guy at work hee hee...*

Moog, I would have thought that the Gcoupe would get a better time than 14.6 with those mods you have, what gives? Are your tires bald?

I wasn't lying when I told you that thing was loud hehe! But it doesn't sound bad being loud though. It's menacing actually. But yeah, sometimes it might be a good idea to keep those silencers on. You might bring some unwanted attention (cops).

DruDragzOn- haha I believed you but damn, I aint heard the Injen in person, but this has to be close to being the loudest bolt on exhaust w/ no other mods in consideration! And thanks again for your thoughts on the exhaust. It helped me make the decision to buy this thing.
AfitchTLS: if you want to be heard, this exhaust is loud. You will be heard. Supposedly people in DFW dyno'd this thing at around 10HP gain. Forgot the torque numbers. I have yet to see a dyno posted though, but for sound and looks, this is no joke.

I have been thinking about getting this exhaust but not I'm getting a little scared. I'm now wondering if it's too loud for me. How much different is the sound with the silencers? Does it sound muffled?
If you're cruising on the highway, how loud is it inside the car?
I'm debating between this exhaust and the new Injen but I'm not sure how much different the sound of the new exhaust is compared to the angled tips system. I really didn't like the sound of the Injen with the angled tips.
This exhaust has a race car sound to it which I like but I'm worried about it getting to me after a while if it's too loud. What do you think?
