I am a noob on tuning
is this a full name 'ART unresonated test pipe' ?
my questions are
1. how much does it cost?
2. what do you have to take off to put this 'ART unresonated test pipe' ? (replacing the stock cat?)

go to motordyneengineering.com If you really want to keep the Nismo and get the most sound/hp out of it look into there ART Pipes, XYZ pipe with resonator. Also maybe switch your intake out. Im not big on intakes but i know when i installed my popcharger my exhaust opened up a but

If you have money to throw around, HFC's will work instead.
There are plenty of sound clips on Youtube.
Any aftermarket intake helps. Pop charger? Injen? Nismo?
Plenum spacer. Motordyne 5/16 is common.
Can't forget headers. Nismo. Stillen.

Plenum spacers most certainly changes the sound of the engine as well to varying degrees based on size to a similar extent as other intake mods do. That being said a spacer alone on a revup is useless unless it's combined with the earlier non revup collector
Test pipes + NISMO y pipe = your y pipe is going to break. Well documented issue with that Y pipe in long term use
Your best bet is going to a local meet and hearing various setups. How a car sounds at idle or free revving has nearly no relevance to how it sounds driving FYI

for now, i just wanna keep Nismo Cat-back exhaust system
(Mid-pipe, y-pipe, and muffler)
and thinking to get test-pipes/ high flow cats to swap the stock cats.
but kinda worrying about not to pass the vehicle inspection because of the test-pipe. and some test-pipe makes really raspy sounds which i am not prefer.
