Test pipes + NISMO y pipe = your y pipe is going to break. Well documented issue with that Y pipe in long term use

Your best bet is going to a local meet and hearing various setups. How a car sounds at idle or free revving has nearly no relevance to how it sounds driving FYI
you mean test pipes will blow the Nismo y-pipe?

There are plenty of sound clips on Youtube.

Any aftermarket intake helps. Pop charger? Injen? Nismo?
Plenum spacer. Motordyne 5/16 is common.
Can't forget headers. Nismo. Stillen.
most pple get test pipes because they are usually cheaper than high flow cats?
for the performance and sounds (if $$$ doesn't matter) , which one is better?

Honestly, I think this is the sound you are looking for. If you wanted another tone, I would not have posted but maybe this might be what your looking for.

Then i would recommend HFC's from various reputable manufacturers.

I would look into motordyne xyz setup....art pipes do look nice but 600 dollar testpipe is ridiculous when you could get any other one for 200 range. I do love my motordyne exhausttho and i would like to math it up w. The art pipes.
