Hey guys. I know most people don't like discussing small power gains from catback exhausts, but i had a slightly different question. I already have a few mods done to my Z, and wanted to get a tune done very soon.

My question is, would a catback exhaust yeild any power if i already have an HR Y-Pipe and Berk HFCs (other mods are Nismo CAI and Motordyne PS)? Should i just get the tune and forget the catback? I'm pretty happy with the sound level now.

 

Yes, but since you already have HR Y pipe it will be modest, so it's your call.
I just added the Invidia Catback on my stock HR..no HFCs and got 5-10 HP/TQ gains in some rpm ranges that made a difference. Peak change was only 4 HP but that's not what counts. See my post on Invidia results. The tune AFTER adding the catback will help quite a bit. I got Osirus (prior to catback).
