Default muffler question

so my exhaust is too loud for daily driving.

i got the fast intentions exhaust and the muffler on that are two 6"x14" round polished stainless steel perforated core mufflers. TIPs are 4.5inches

i was wondering if i replaced thoes mufflers with 5"x 9" oval, 14" long stainless steel perforated core mufflers TIPs are 4inches if it would quiet it down?

if NOT.... what kind of muffler should i replace it with to quiet it down some.

thanks!

I had the same problem with another car I owned.Not a Z.
I replaced the tips with resonated tips that matched the car.
It took the loudness down about 50%.
They used to have some tips available with removable baffles.
Don't know if they are still available.

Bump! I already have a resonator in the middle and some glasspacks towards the end and I want to swap the mufflers to some thing to quiet it down more
