I would recommend you look and hear the Nismo exhaust with the top down it sounds great and it is covered with Nissan 36 mos warranty. I have it on my Roadster and really like the sound and the look-very clean.
Just my 2 cents--

Default Borla

I the Borla True Dual put on my Roadster and it rocks! The kit is high quality and comes with a million mile warranty. (it is all heavy gauge stainless steel). The sound is nice and low.

It is louder than stock, but not too loud. I didn't want anything TOO loud since noise gets in the Roadster easier than the coupe.

there is no special kit, the coupe kit fits the roadster no problem.

My vote: Sounds good, looks good, good quality.

Default Borla

Borla makes 2 kits. One is a single pipe back to the muffler with 2 outlets (like the stock exhaust).

The other is 2 pipes from the cats all the way to the tail pipes. (although it LOOKS like one muffler, there are 2 passages). I have heard it called True Dual, but I am not really an expert on Borla teminology.

I punched in the specs at Borla.com (2003 Nissan 350Z) and it suggested "TRUE DUAL CAT-BACK SYSTEM "

You could just ask Borla.

Just be sure you get the true dual system if you go with Borla.

I'm looking to go with the nismo, looking for performance, more HP, don't need it to be too loud. I will also install the CAI this winter. I just received the "Z" badges, they are sweet. And best of all, my Connecticut Vanity plate " 350-ZR "
