Default my n/a car came with APS tall boy - worth keeping?

hey guys. i bought my z slightly used and stock other than an APS tall boy intake plenum that the previous owner installed for FI plans that never happened. id like to keep the car stock and would really like to install my engine cover and strut bar.

what are your opinions on reinstalling the stock plenum? i could use the money from selling the APS unit and was hoping i might gain some low end torque with the stock plenum and a spacer (or so my friend claims).

worth selling? anyone want it?

thanks

If you want to keep the car stock, you should sell it. It is a pretty rare piece now a days. You could probably get around 400 dollars for it. I am not sure about gaining low end torque. However, either way you probably won't notice a difference.

If you remove it you will feel a slight difference. As abushong504 said it still brings good money. If you go back to stock do install a plenum spacer. I'm sure someone with a spacer is willing to trade and add cash on top.

Just keep it. NO reason to bother and replace a piece that others sought after.
