Default Injen Mega Ram CAI or Pop charger

My question is about the difference between the Injen mega ram and the pop charger. I have had the pop charger most of the life of my car, its a 2003 350z and I recently upgraded to the Injen. My only regret is that I think my MPG has gone down, is this possible or just a coincidence? As of right now im more worried about MPG than performance so I would go back to the pop charger if you all think it will help. My second question is there is an option for a heat shield on the mega ram, do you think I should get that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, haven't been on here for years. Is there something really bad about the Injen? Luckily I got it for free. So back to OEM?

None of what are saying to do is gonna make much difference in any noticeable performance.Actually, the stock air box with a K&N is pretty damn good. The Ingen&POPCHARGER looks cooler, sounds better, but a CAI alone is no big deal in HP.

The heat shield is the key, from a performance and milage standpoint the JWT is best.

Alright, im going back to the pop charger...it sucks that a product that retails for almost $300 is not as good as one for $100...thanks for all the help

heat sheild is cool, but its the inner cone of the JWT pop coupled w its velocity stack collar that creates teh most laminar airflow acrossed the mf.. import tuner shootout article tests them all.

JWT or stock, and thats IT. Or your airfuel will be spotty at best across teh power band.
