Default Megan Customer Service

I'm planning on getting the megan resonated test pipes v2. I've done lots of research and sounds clips and have pretty well just become overwhelmed. Thanks to crap quality sound clips and lack of anything near my set up I am considering going on a leap of faith with these since they are inexpensive and worst case I could just sell them with minimal loss.

I know ART test pipes are my best bet. But I just do not want to spend that much money on them.

Few questions.
1. Where is the best place to buy these. Not price but for customer service. If these break or the resonator craps out, is there a chance of getting them replaced. If so who is the vendor that has the best reputation or do you deal with Megan directly and what are your experiences with this.

2. I have the Borla TD exhaust. I have 2.25 piping cat back to the best of my knowledge. Many test pipes say 2.25 ID and 2.5 OD. I'm assuming inner diameter/outer diameter. If this is the case will 2.5 bolt to my true dual exhaust?

3. Is there anyone that would recommend a different brand that is similar in price. Ive heard of topspeed and a few random names that are new to me. I've seen a lot of odd ball test pipes in videos that's name brand was new to me as well. What is a resonated test pipe that is better quality for near the same price.

Thanks a ton for the help.

My exhaust set up is Borla TD with the resonators removed.

I have used OBX exhausts on my old Car (3rd gen altima) and I have never had issues with Rust or weld breaks, or anything. I lived in Miami so it may be dif where you live.

In all honesty I have seen guys rocking Godspeed exhausts w.o an issue, even with FI cars.
I have heard of some bad apples with some of these copy exhausts, but Megan and OBX have a good rep when it comes to service, so I have heard.

I installed my own exhausts and I have never had leaks, some people have done this ( or bad shop install) and sound is bad. WHP gains are small if any( VQ only likes FI apperantly lol)

Amazon.com has good deals and so does Ebay( again make sure the vendor isnt scamming) and make sure you see pic or description with w.e brand the exhaust is. I have always bought stuff on ebay, and as long as you read and arent stupid you should be fine.

Just dont buy turbos on ebay lol

Megan stuff works like this:

One batch is from factory A where the workers are happy that day and double check their work all day.

Another batch is from factory B where the workers are working 20 hours a day and this batch was made on their last hour so things are going to crap out.

Ok maybe not like that but thats how I imagine it. I mean if you want inexpensive then go ahead since they're so cheap you can just throw them away and buy another set.

OR you can just wait patiently and save up until you have enough for ART pipes. Its hard to wait but its worth it and will save you tons of money. Since if you wait you just pay for ART pipes, if not you're paying for Megan pipes + ART pipes later on.
