ART Pipes came in the mail yesterday!!! f***in stoked to get them on.

Unfortunately they did not come with the gaskets for the headers to the ART Pipes, they did provide gaskets for the ART Pipes to Cat-back.

Anybody purchse these pipes? Do they usually come with the Header gaskets?

The DE ART pipes do not come with inlet gaskets. The stock gasket is reused. The stock gasket is indefinitely reusable and good to go.

The HR and VHR ART pipes come with the silicone RTV because they have a different inlet setup.

So in either case you are good for a weekend install.

Talking

They're on! And are fricken sweeeeeet! The sound is incredible with my HKS dual and Stillen Headers!!! No Rasp that I have noticed so far. Louder for sure when your on the gas but on the way to work this morning, super quiet just cruisin... I do have some rattle I noticed this morning letting the car warm up. So Im going to need to jack it back up and se whats bumping against eachother. I did chop the M6 bolts on the heat shield so I dont believe it is that. The car has some smell now, I dont mind it much, just reminds me that its a race car hahah

Oh, and hasn't tripped the engine light yet, even with no tune. Tune is coming soon....

Wicked. You should definitely post some videos at some point - I've got a very similar setup on my car (MD TDXv2 instead of HKS). As far as your rattle, you may want to check the clearance between your catback and the lower brace beneath the chassis. Whenever you mess with the various sections of the exhaust pathway, you run the chance of changing the exhaust alignment and spacing, and it that's one of the first places you'll notice it. Not saying that's the case for sure, but if it is, it'd be an easy fix for you. Congrats and welcome to the club

Unfortunately the only video camera I have is my ndroid phone. Ill try to record one but its going to sound like sh*t....

I have a felling thats where it is rattling because when I unbolted the cats back, the HKS was resting on the brace. It looked like it was back up from the brace but I'm sure thats going to be it...

Can you pass smog with your ART Pipes on?

It depends how Calif do their checks. If they use a sniffer, then no, you can't pass.

If they just plug in the ODBII then you should be fine.

Ca does visual, sniffer and gas cap/recirculation check.

No way anything not carb passes without a crooked check station which is becoming harder & harder to find.

I got my art pipes installed today , no tune yet still debating on buying after market exhaust , unfortunately I have rasp which I expected and my ses light came on . My mechanic says the. Light is the result of a bad bank sensor . When i accelarate there is a slight pause . Still happy with the pipes though , gonna get the sensor replaced tomorrow hopefully that'll fix the slight hesitation and clear the ses light .

Duh, if it's a bank sensor, you really need it, it's how the engine determines the fuel levels etc, you'll have bad gas mileage and poor performance until you do. Everything wears out in the end, doesn't mean you can get away without it.

I agree I'm Def getting it replaced , gonna take it back to the shop that installed the pipes next week . Sometimes when I accelerarate the car will do a Weird burble and stutter . Just really annoyed I paid 300 bucks to get the pipes installed and then this expensive sensor decides to commit suicide lol .

I'm 19 and did it myself with a socket set, crescent wrench and a torque wrench. It was fairly easy. Took about 3 hours. The hardest part was the top bolts on the header>ART Pipe flange, I just miguivered a socket wrench with about 9 or so extensions to reach from the engine bay down to Art Pipes.

I finally figured out the rattle it is due to the Cat-back rattling on the differential. I cant really figure out how to move it...
