Also my engine light is not on and this was from april to nov when i put the car away for winter. Its all in the tune honestly. Not sure what you got out there in the west but i got my done in a shop in toronto.
hmm interesting, mind posting a clip for me to listen to?

i currently have invidia pipes still in the box, not to much in Saskatoon, Performance+ and Speedtech... and i currently have the injen dual cold air intake.

i would love a clip if there is anyway you could shoot one and post it

I know it was mentioned that the test pipes can potentially crack the y-pipe if they don't have brackets as the flexing would cause to much stress.

What if the y-pipe has the flex pieces on each side, will you still ruin the possibility of cracking the y-pipe?

Just curious if you put test pipes in with a y-pipe they had the flex hose, would you crack the y-pipe regardless without the brackets?

Well I have the AAM test pipes and y-pipe which has two flex sections so I guess it does help since I don't have any cracks/hisses/bog

Again with the stock setup adding one piece well give you a nice tone. Test pipes and a y-pipe with a 3" outlet will give you rasp out the a$$...

Exactly I just fubar'd a nice write up...stupid phone!

So many combinations, best bet is YouTube or your local meets for a exhaust note you like. Other than that it's a crapshoot...

no prob king, thanks for all the tips and advice.

my first thought was:
stock nismo exhaust with invidia test pipes.

now i think my actuall plan is going to be.
stock nismo exhaust with res delete on the mid pipe.

hopefully the second one works out like i am hoping for in the mean time as i try to save some cash for a nice setup ...

JDM would be nice but im not sure i feel like spending 3000+ on Amuse or MCR. Any other suggestions that might be a little less costly but yet good quality?

Just an FYI, every single time i've seen/heard the center resonator removed, you get rasp.

yea i have been watchin some more vids and i am hearing a bit of rasp, this is starting to get to the point of just replacing it with a full exhaust, just not sure what brand would be one of the better ones for the money.

Best one seems to be the Motordyne system, no rasp, good gains.

I think most would agree that Motordyne puts out a quality product

I have notice with nismo exhaust the best sound is with berk hfc.I would even go as far as to say they sound better than art pipes with nismo exhaust but test pipes sound good too just a little louder.
