2003 Nissan 350z Touring Exhuast Upgrade Options?
I have recently purchased a used 2003 350z Touring with 65,000 miles. I was wondering what my options are for an after market exhaust. I want something that not only sounds awesome, but doesnt break the bank.
What does everyone recommend?

Sounding good and not breaking bank does go work together. You gotta pay to play.
If your budget is < $500, you can get replica exausts like the HKS rep, X02 or w/e. They sound like crap in person (too much popping) and can be found for ~350-400 on ebay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bjWHUB_ygM
If you raise your budget to $1000~, you can possibly pick up some legit brand/used exhausts or legit exhausts that have been around for some time. One example that I was looking at few months ago was the Apexi WS2. Single exhaust with dual tips tho. Not true dual. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5ieHnpTNZs
$1500 range, you can get legit exhausts new. Nismo, Borla, and my personal recommendation, Motordyne Shockwave TDX2, which also has pretty good gains and is true dual exhaust. ;o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6DG-rcp_5Q&hd=1
$2000+ is name brand / titanium like Amuse R1 Titan (Titanium) (not worth the $ IMO) You are mostly paying for weight savings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AlU7...qF4-SUQcszUiA=

Ask 4 Z owners, your gonna get 5 answers on the best exhaust.
If you have the funds, planning on keeping your car and are mostly concerned about sound, quality of product, direct bolt on...my choice is a Nismo catback.
Its gonna cost aound $1,300.But,man you can install it yourself.
Its good lookin, not too loud...has a nice balanced agressive sound.
If your Z is stock,I'd bolt on a Popcharger to compliment the noise from
the Nismo. If you are a DIY'er,you'll less than $1,500 in the package.

There is one option here, look in this section for the Fujitsubo post, there is a link to an ebay seller, clearing out the mid pipe and rear section.
Make an offer for $500, i believe they accept that. Sounds good, but it's not much louder than stock.
