Default So many exhausts, so little time

So I am getting FI tuned in the next week or so and I have been trying to find a exhaust that will satisfy me. I have had 3 exhaust on the car so afr and im on to my 4th one now. I have fast Intentions resonated test pipes on all exhaust.

I started out with the HKS hi-power. This exhaust looked great and sounded great too! Not too loud but enough to please my ears. Looked great too. Craftsmanship was great, welds are beautiful. I fell like i just got tired of it and wanted something different. Plus i planned on going with a momentum single turbo kit so i traded it for an Agency power single. I will later regret this.

I ran the Agency Power Single exhaust with a stillen y-pipe and i must say this is the most beautiful sounding exhaust i have ever heard. its also looked amazing. Welds were great, pretty good quality. the only problem was that it was way too loud! the drone killed my ears. made them hurt after a five minute drive down the road. I had to start to wear ear plugs because it was so loud. I knew it was only gonna get louder once i put DC headers and installed my vortech supercharger kit. So i traded it for a borla system.

On to the borla. I must say that I absolutely hate this exhaust. the look, the sound, i hate it! it looked pretty much the same as stock and sounded the same even with test pipes. there were a lot of pieces too which mad it easy to transport but longer to install. The quality was good. If your looking for a sleeper exhaust or one that will give you performance without the sound then this is the exhaust for you! the look didnt flow with my car though. I had to buy a new exhaust after only having this one on for a week. So i decided to go with the ARK GRIP.

The ARK grip looks like the HKS or a clone but is really not. the HKS has an H-pipe compared to the ARK's X-pipe. I would say that ARK looked at the HKS and looked for ways that they could improve it and make it cheaper then the HKS. The only thing i dont like about the ARK is that the tips have adjustable slots in them and they are pretty big. also i hear that this exhaust hangs pretty low so it might scrape as i am lowered. I talked to a couple of people about this. one guy at intense power said it of really good quality even though he didnt want to because he wants my business and they dont carry the exhaust.

FI build thread coming soon. waiting for the install to start to make a official thread.

??Are you asking,or telling?
Sounds as though your the type of guy that says,"I'll know it when I hear it".
When it comes to exhausts, everyone has their favorite.
If you have the bucks,I'd check out Amuse.
Awesome sound&quality.

I always thought a louder exhaust on the Z was awesome until I heard a couple singles with tp. MY god it sounds like an elephant is being castrated without being put to sleep.
