Default air duct and long ram cai?

any point in putting an air duct in the front bumper if you have a long ram cai that goes to the front grille? would it help keep intake air and the engine cool?

Even with a short ram you will not have a noticable difference.

The gains you would experience with a duct are limited to low speeds due to the flow profile of the air at higher speeds. I actually did some extensive testing on this in this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...nce-gains.html

Air ducts like these are 99% aesthetic and 1% performance. Furthermore, that 1% is conditional, and there is no "ram air" effect that takes place.

So with a CAI, you would be completely wasting your time and money. It's only barely worth it with a "ram air" or stock intake.

did they mention if the air temp rose with stock airbox?

..so cai arent negating performance then? but for sound i think its worth it lol.
