Default Nismo Exhaust + ART Test Pipes?

Anyone have vids or comments on nismo exhaust with art pipes? I could have sworn there were some threads on this, but I only found one on here, and it sounds like a mustang. Tried youtube and they don't have this setup either. Just want to compare how it sounds with and without art pipes, thanks

I've got this setup.
Mustang??Must be a bad sound clip.
First of all,a 6cyl sounds like a 6.a 8 sounds like a 8.6cyl Mustang?
If you have heard a Nismo catback, the ART pipes gives
the tone more definition. It is a bit louder, not much.
The big difference with the ART pipes added is more of
an aggressive "snarl".
Love the combo!

^^well the mustang comment was based on the op who stated that his setup sounded like a mustang. Did your butt dyno notice anything? I am deciding if I should pick up both or just the exhaust for now. Ive heard the nismo in person, and while it does sound good, still sounds like a bit weak

I originally considered the S-Tune because it was 3' but went with the TopSpeed instead. Butt-dyno wise, I can't feel any loss upfront but I certainly noticed the way it pulls in the mid-high range. Check the second set of vids on my thread if you want to hear that "snarl" sound, or if you are looking for something louder than the S-Tune.

The sound clips on YouTube etc are not very accurate. The Nismo S-tune
in person has a lower tone than any audio clip I've heard.Basically,it keeps the original OEM sound but much sharper and has a nice snap at higher revs.
Sounds much different than OEM at idle. When starting your car,it has an immediate semi-growl.I installed my Nismo first.Later decided to do the ART
addition. You probably have heard, the Nismo is a perfect fit.Quick/easy install.

^^and you would say the addition of the art pipes was a great investment? Well worth the money?

I'd say yes.
ART pipes are pricey. The addition of the XYZ pipe is a good idea since you are adding the ART's.Unless you have the facilities and tools, its not a
easy bolt on.They are well made.Of course,if you are in a area that
permits removing cats, its ok.I added to maximize my exhaust system and
other bolts ons---intake,spacer.
Also,I tend to not take the cheap approach in most things I do.
ART's are really first class.

I'll second the ART's being added, most TP's lose a bit low down, but the ART's don't. I felt a little more pep low down when daily driving after fitting my ARTs.

I thought the art pipes were supposed to reduce or eliminate rasp, I would think it would do this effectively on a nismo. If that is the case, no point in getting them

They do, i'm not sure why the Nismo would do it like this. It's practically a upgraded stock system.

My stock system had a very small amount of rasp with the HFC module on the XYZ pipe. It was between 3k and 4k RPM and only mild. This is due to the stock exhaust system, which is narrower than the Nismo, i understand that to be the reason for the slight rasp.

I changed out to the resonator module on the XYZ pipe and there is no trace of rasp.

Compared to normal test pipes and even HFC's, the ART pipes do not rasp, it's the other exhaust components that can introduce it.

I have the ART pipes with the YYZ y-pipe and Nismo exhaust. I have the resonator for the y-pipe. There is ZERO rasp.

^^How was the before and after of the art pipes? Or did you install all at once?
