The Fujitsubo is definately louder once you get to 3500rpm or so. Lower frequencies especially, kinda boomy. Still adjusting to it and need to get a Y-Pipe.

From the Fujitsubo site after transalating and converting it said 7HP increase and Japtrix found about 5HP for the y-pipe which would put it right with the dual systems, I don't know about the Fujitsubo y-pipe.

I am not sure about Nismo but I think it was 6-7 HP which is disapointing since it includes the y-pipe but as can be seen in some picks I don't think it is shaped to make the most.

nismo wont make the most, but its goal is more for an awesome sound. i installed the nismo last weekend, and the sound is unbelieveable. Your close to me, so let me know if you're interested in hearing it. But if you're looking for raw power, Injen and Borla put out some nice numbers, and to really get the most, get high flow cats or test pipes.

Hey, I'm very interested in your setup.. do you the Fujitsubo midpipe or the Japtrix one? Have you personally dyno'd your car to verify the claims the manufacturers got? Also, the Fujitsubo exhaust doesn't look 'polished' like the stock and most others.. is that correct or am I mistaken?

The Fujitsubo comes with the muffler and mid pipe (or straight pipe) and then I added the Japtrix y-pipe.

Unfortunately I did not do a before and after dyno, I wish I had. But I figured Fujitsubo was probably right with 7HP since they are using bigger piping and the Japtrix one I know because I was with them when they dynoed, they had another 350Z they were using.

According to Fujitsubo, the Nismo USA exhaust system is quite different. Per Nismo USA specifications, cost cutting was a major issue, and thus Fujitsubo designed a lower cost exhaust system for Nismo USA. What exactly was changed remains confidential however. This is also why Nismo JDM and Nismo USA ehxaust systems are not the same.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Gary
