Well, it was long day at performance nissan (www.performancenissanparts.com) getting my cats installed on my g35 coupe, and all I have to say is that performance nissan does have the BEST customer service and great prices thanks to Jeff and Jason. I'll be doing all my mods there! Thanks guys see you next monday

Anyways back to the cats. First off, my car has the stock exhaust and my only mods were a Z-tube and Blitz filter.

Well, the sound of the stock exhaust with the RT cats sounds GREAT especially over 4500 RPMS. It's so so slightly (and i mean slightly) louder in cabin with a fuller sound on the outside . Let me put it this way when i took my wife for a ride she didn't even notice a change until I got it up to about 4500 + rpm and they she said "wow that sounds great".

Oh yeah not to forget about the real reason i got this mod...Performance. You can definitely feel it pull harder after 4500rpm to redline..Butt dyno says 7hp for sure! Feels like 17hp though wish i had done it sooner...

 

Glad your happy with them!! We feel it's by far the best improvement for these VQ motors. Sorry it took so long, we've been slammed by all these recalls for the Altima's and Sentra's!! Nice of you not to mention we took out one of your rims while your car was being moved around... at least we got it replaced right away!!

 

I will be having a wing put on at Performance tentatively next Tuesday..........should I tape up my rims? LOL.......just kidding
