Two threads, and neither make sense.

How about not shopping for exhausts on Craiglist and get the real thing?

never seen the pipes look like that on an hks replica, usually they are h pipes. But 180 is a really good price for a hks replica

Then it's not a y pipe, it's two straight pipes, or an h pipe, or an x pipe, or you're just clueless.

It's crappy exhaust. I got it, unfortunately, had a Magnaflow x-pipe welded in, which helped a lot, but I will probably be switching it out down the road for something quality that doesn't drone a crap ton.

It sounds like English, but I can't understand a word you're saying.

Ok the thing is the y pipe is not connected via a H pipe style or x pipe style connection. So these are individual flowing. As true dual as you can get. And 5 inches? I thought size didn't matter.

Don't listen to this guy.

Exhaust is one thing you DON'T want to cheap out on on your Z. It will make or break the car for you. Save up your money and buy a quilts exhaust... Best advise possible.
