How many people are running only a single pipe for your exhaust system?
Spugen made my HKS Ti single exhaust w/ y-pipe back in march 2003.. since then other members have gotten similar setups done by Spugen..
here is a pic from outside..

The exhaust is loud.. i'm not gonna lie about that Jason@Performance has heard it in person.. it's loud but sounds really good and clean.. definite pull in the high rpm range

Hey to all of you who did the HKS Single, I want to do an HKS Dual, but there is something that bothers me. I want the mufflers pointing straight back and not at an angle like I see in these pictures, is that possible? Thanks.
hah yeah it is old, but actually its not a matter of flow for me, i just dont like the look of two muffler tips angled out, i want them pointing straight back. i just dont know if it will physically fit.
uhm dual 2.5's do not equal roughly 5 inches. There is massive amounts of friction and crosswinds near the outside edge which would make a large diameter pipe bigger than 2 smaller diameter pipes for free flow applications. Also, the pressure would still be higher in dual 2 inch pipes because of the way the engine releases gasses. its not a constant flow...but puffs or waves b/c the cylinders fire one after the other and never constantly.
