Default Canadian version of cold air intake

Was an effective -40 with wind chill this AM. Car runs great in this weather, the motor turned over to start just fine.

Although I use synthetic in the engine, I believe the tranny has regular dyno juice lubrication as shifting is a little stiff until warm.

This pic will hurt all you preservists out there. Pure salt! Rust proofing is a good idea up here.

jumpin jeeeeehozafat........ that is cold ! no way -- I grew up in that kind of cold... living in LA warmed me up and gave me an appreciation that life can be fun in the winter ... I will never go back to living in a deep freezer again, Only drive of fly in for skiing.

Guys, as bad as it is today, go to www.theweathernetwork.com and see what it is going to be like at the end of next week. Man, I hope they are wrong. Highs of -20. I think today is a high of -16 in Toronto. When you have a high of -20, it can easily be -40 to -50 at night with the windchill. I'm driving the wifes 4Runner today, but next week she will need it and the Z is heading out into the deep freeze. I was reading -26 on the 4runner this morning at 7:30 in Toronto.
At least on Monday it will be warm enough to go to the spray wash and get all that salt off.

It's -25C. If you look closely, you can see a 'C' after the number on the display. Damn digital camera wouldn't focus properly.

There is one benefit to driving in this temperature, the motor become *really* peppy!
