Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I did use the Search function. No luck.
My question is...would there be any reason AT ALL for an auto shop to swap the rear O2 sensors when installing test pipes on our cars?
This happened to me and it eventually threw SES/CEL codes (1273, 1284). I spent more than $600 trying to diagnose and attempt to fix the problem. No one could figure it out. Then one day, a tech at the Nissan dealership happened to notice that they were swapped. Put them back where they were supposed to be and viola, the codes are off.
Were the installers retarded or was there a reason for the swap?
Thanks in advance for input!
