Default Agency Power Ti Exhaust Installation Pictures

Picked this up a couple months ago. I love this exhaust, and I think it sounds great! It has a funny rasp sound when the muffler is cold, but once the muffler heats up a little, it sounds great!

Before the install...

Installed onto the car (sorry, I was having trouble with the exposures due to the heavy tree shadows next to my car)...

The problems I have with it? I wish it was positioned on the exhaust cut out a little better. I got this position by modding the canister hanger a little bit, and cutting a small piece of the diff pumpkin. I also don't understand why they put the flange right next to the pumpkin, but I guess it really doesn't hurt anything once you cut that ear off the pumpkin. I am also a little upset this exhaust doesn't really work with the Top Secret/Shine knock-off rear bumper diffuser.

As for performance, just bolting it on, the car didn't really feel any faster. It actually felt a little slower, which I think is because I probably lost a little low end torque with this exhaust. It does scream in the top end, which sounds really cool. Overall, I think with supporting mods in the rest of the exhaust and a tune, it would be a great performer!

None the less, I am incredibly happy with it, and would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a louder exhaust!

Ah good to know I'm not the only one who is experiencing the "cold" high pitched raspy noise. My 3" Megan Racing single does the same thing.

Do you have stock cats? I thought about getting this exhaust with test pipes but I flaked.

Looks great, a bumper tuck would make it look better. I love the look of burnt titanium

You can now also do the rear bumper tuck, so it doesn't look like you have a pipe missing on the right, even though you do

Exhaust with larger piping. most of the time you will lose the low-end torque but you should feel the power increase at high speed due to better air flow

Are you sure about that? CIN Motorsports explained it as having more low end torque because it is "Y"ing into 1 pipe, rather than having 2 2.5" pipes. They had compatible dyno charts to show as well. I made a good amount more torque than their other customer with an HKS.

There is less low-end loss with a single 3" than going straight to true duals (without a tune), but it was still noticeable. Personally, I don't want to go to true duals because I like the weight of a single exit, which mine is only 23 lbs. I wanted the JIC Spartan Ti, which is something like 9 lbs, but I saw this for sale in the forums and it was much easier on the wallet!

I did a bumper tuck, but no pictures yet. I really like the look, and looked at a ton of pictures before I did it and really liked what I saw, but I am not sold on it (which sucks because it's already done and I already have holes in the bumper).

The other issue I have is I removed the mud guards, and my paint is all scratched around where the edge was... I tried Scratch-X and polishing it, but nothing really got it out. I think it looks kind of silly with the mud guards on. Either way, I am considering finding a stock body kit because my front bumper has a small scratch in it, my side skirts have a small crack under the front mud guards, and the rear has the mud guard issue. We will see what happens with that though...

I will try and post up pictures of the bumper tuck. My brother took his nice Digital SLR back, so I got to find my cheap point and shoot...

Yup - I have stock cats... I don't have the money for long tubes, y-pipe, and a tune, so it is just this for now. Besides, the C-stock autocross class only allows modifications from the cats back. I am not going to put in a Y-Pipe because I don't know if there is much advantage without a tune and stock cats - my money could be spent else where.

I am not sure how it would sound with the long tubes, but I know non-resonated test pipes would really lay on the rasp.

i dont have this on my ap. maybe they have to break in.

on clearance, i just had to manipulate the hangers. you can loosen the muffler clamp, push the exhaust to the side, then tighten the clamp. mine used to rattle against the diff, but after i did this its been 1 year with no problems.

one more thing, i wish the bolt for the clamp was up higher to keep it out of site.

I actually figured the sudden step from a 2.5" to a 3" pipe right at the Y-pipe flange would greatly reduce exhaust velocity and affect scavenging... That was a very interesting read!

Also, I don't have any dyno results to back my claim of lower torque. I just mentioned it felt like it was a little more sluggish in the low end. My friend who rides in my car a lot said he felt the sluggishness in the low end, and he thought it felt a little more responsive in the top end, but I didn't notice any difference. I almost considered going to back to stock again to compare, but I didn't feel like getting that heavy rear muffler back down out of my attic.

I have a Megan 3" single with test pipes, and topspeed 3" y-pipe. It is ridiculously loud, and has a ton of rasp. ART pipes are supposed to help alot from what i hear.

Looks good but losing my hearing in my right ear was not worth the beautiful sound from this exhaust.
