the invidia n1 has 2.5" piping.. and all aftermarket y pipe have a 3" outlet.. it'd just be choking up your exhaust a little. just keep stock.

the inlet to the y pipe is 2.5", but the outlet (connects to the exhaust) is 3" diameter. again, you do not need to get an aftermarket y pipe with that exhaust system.

gains are minimal with any bolt on, just leave the stock y pipe on

I have the Ichiba y pipe with the Invidia n1 exhaust and Iam happy with this setup. The Ichiba y pipe is by no means the best y pipe and like what the other users said the gains are minimal. I really wanted to change my y pipe without spending a lot and this is the brand I went with. The first time around I had a Megan y pipe and that broke on me. So it all kind of depends on your budget but there are brands better than Ichiba.

Yes and everyone would advise you to do the same. I went with resonated test pipes instead of high flow cats but again you need to figure out what your goals are and how much you want to spend.

Considering it'd be stupid to go from large piping to small piping with a y pipe, yes.. high flow cats will do much better.

if you're going to get hfc, might as well get a y pipe too. Any y pipe will do, even megan/ebay y pipes. Just remember to keep the flow-2.25-2.5-3inch diameter so you don't get rasp. I used to run 3inch tp's mating with a 2.25 inch exhaust and had a lot of rasp, switched to nismo and no rasp.

why would you run smaller exhaust piping, but larger test pipe/hfc piping? it's supposed to gradually get larger, not smaller.

sound bad ***, hmmmm
LTH? X)
LTH+stock y pipe and n1
otherwise..
any good quality y pipe, and some 3" y pipe back
I would say agency power or megan drift spec for single
or topspeed 3"
it looks just like the invidia n1, but it preforms better due to larger piping
if you're willing to spend more just go on with the MD shockwave..
if you're not going for a tune, I suggest you keep stock y pipe, n1 and LTH
good gains imo..
