Best Way To Clean Injen CAI Filter?
Hey guys, I tried to find a thread on this but I couldnt find anything (granted i didnt look too long)
I have an Injen cold air intake on my 04. Just realized it hasnt been cleaned since i got the car about 3 years ago which im sure in terrible. Whats the best way to clean to filter, or should it just be replaced? Any help is super appreciated!

The Injen just like my NISMO doesn't use an oiled filter so you can buy this K&N kit from any auto parts store and just not use the oil recharger, only the cleaner

As you can see it's pretty cheap, just remember to let the filter dry before reinstalling

How about a little warm water in a bucket with some Mr. Clean, then a rinse in clear water. One of my non-Z cars has foam air filters, and that method works great for them. No experience with the Injen, though, so just a suggestion to be taken with a grain of salt.
