Need help with a question i have.
I've just bought a 2006 350z and ive never been the car genius just a normal driver so I dont know everything there is to do with cars so this may seem like a dumb question but also may not.
I was concedering buying aftermarket exhuast tips for my car and i was wondering if i bought some like these in the link----->
http://www.ebay.com/itm/N1-STYLE-4-CARBON-FIBER-FLAT-BURNT-TIP-W-3-INLET-MUFFLER-EXHAUST-RESONATOR-/200903945196?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item2ec6ceebec&vxp=mtr
Would those exhaust tips be able to attach to my stock exhaust or would there have to be modifications or more parts bought?
Thanks

My advice would be to shy-away from anything off ebay or anything that is a knock-off/replica…it'll be more trouble then it's worth and you'll end up replacing it...
If you want a different exhaust look get a high quality cat-back exhaust from a trusted vendor. It's gonna be expensive - $800 to $1500, but it'll be done right. If money is tight look for a used setup from a name brand, such as stillen, HKS, invidia, etc. Any kit that was designed for the Z is going to bolt right in with minimal modification.

To answer your specific question, no you couldn't bolt that straight up. You could do a hack job yourself or have a muffler shop rig it up for you once they dropped the stock muffler...but like what was stated above, take your time and save some money to get a quality full cat-back system. You'll be much happier you did.
